ABOUT THE ROLE

The English, Film and Media department is highly successful and consists of fifteen members of staff, ranging from dynamic, innovative early-career teachers to more experienced members of the team who work collaboratively in an inclusive, diverse, creative and supportive environment. We are committed to academic excellence, inspiring student engagement, offering a rich extra-curricular programme and supporting both personal and professional growth. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving, forward-thinking department where high standards and a passion for education drive student success. The successful candidate will teach KS3 through to KS5. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the subject who is able to inspire both students and colleagues.

This is a fixed-term position to cover a maternity leave for up to 1 year, or on return of the permanent postholder.
